The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:- Routing and Switching (Cisco) - Load Balancing (F5 Big IP) - Firewalls What You'll Be Doing:- Establish and maintain network performance by building configurations and corrections; troubleshooting problems; maximizing performance - Design system configuration; direct system installation; define, document, and enforce system standards. - Secure network system by establishing and enforcing policies; define and monitor access What You Need to Bring to the Table:- Ability to track budgets, manage projects, solve problems. Demonstrate knowledge of LAN, Proxy Servers, network design and implementation, troubleshooting, hardware configuration and performance tuning. - General routing/switching, Firewalls (Cisco ASA, Pix, Juniper), VPN (Cisco and others), Load Balancing (F5 Big IP) and VRF configuration and maintenance Bonus Points!
