Analyst Position Overview: The primary focus of this position will be troubleshooting and resolving application issues in an Oracle ERP environment. Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot problems and resolve applications issues by partnering with: - application users to create functional specification document for fulfilling gaps - developer(s) to create technical specification documents for design to resolve identified gaps, adhering to defined standards and best practices - SME and functional users to identify and make recommendations on how to utilize features of the applications to infuse process efficiencies - Perform requirements analysis, functional and technical design specifications, utilizing current systems methodologies and tools; Evaluate user and departmental requests, gather business requirements and work with the appropriate teams to interpret requirements - Raise Service Requests (SR) and work with Oracle technical support to resolve bugs and functionality issues; Participate in patching activities by conducting impact analysis and testing - Investigate solutions for Change Requests and present functional and technical options. These solutions could include modifications to the set up and configuration of existing modules, enhancements to modules, and/or implementation of new Oracle modules Requirements: Basic
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in
computer
Science, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience. - Experience in Oracle ERP or other ERP environments - SQL experience, Quest TOAD/SQL Navigator - Understanding interdependencies of ERP modules and their functionality - Structured Analysis and Design Experience (knowledge of full SDLC) Preferred
Qualifications:- Basic experience in an Oracle ERP environment including knowledge/experience with one of the following: Oracle Projects, Oracle HRMS (PAY, OTL, HR, IRC), Labor Distribution (LD), Advanced Benefits (OAB), Purchasing (PO, iPROC) or Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA), - Basic experience with Oracle Development Toolkit and OA Framework, Implementing/troubleshooting Oracle Workflow - Experience with Oracle EBS R12 - Experience with implementing and/or supporting interfaces to/from Oracle EBS - Strong analytical, and problem solving skills - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - A desire to grow your career by broadening your technical, functional, analytical skills and leadership skills.
