Full time position available for Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm day shift. Must have clean DMV driving record in print (if possible), clean appearance, and be able to converse with customer's upon your arrival to a jobsight if requested of you. MUst be PUNCTUAL, DEPENDABLE AND READY TO WORK BY 9:
00AM SHARP day in and day out. Duties you will be asked to perform are as follows:
the construction side of your job will be to replace and/or fill with a wood filler rafter tails, fascia boards, studs, mouldings, trim, siding, build and install new doors (build meaning bore holes, plane edges, and use router for hinges) then hang it. Also replaceing window sills and door sills, and you'll need to know your way around a mud pan for filling boards we don't replace. Basically if any part of a homeowner's or a business' structure gets eaten on by termites or is rotting away due to dryrot we come in to repair/replace any damaged wood (plus kill there termites). Must be ok with crawling under houses and/or in attics for chemical applications. On the termite side of your job you would be spraying termiticide chemicals under houses and/or in attics to kill the termites. Spraying with a spraynozzle that's shooting @90 psi and with a 30 foot stream. That's not every house that we do work on, so it's not too bad, but one thing you cannot be is closterphobic (being freaked out when your in close quarters or confined areas) because being somewhere that you have 3' of clearance, from the structure (above your head), down to the earth (beneath yourself) can be challenging on your nerves. This is what we do at least every other day and not all guys are able to step up and get the job done. Most guys do eventually take care of business though. how about you?
Everything I just described we can easily train you to do. You don't have to know everything. Workplace safety, safe handle of power tools and safe handling of chemicals will be the first order of business. Your experience and your skilset will dictate starting pay rate. After your 90 day probationary period is completed you will be reviewed, and at that time you'll have a potential for pay rate increase and an offer to remain with our company on a regular full time basis depending on your performance up till then. Holidays are paid and vacation pay included after completion of first year of employment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
