Supported Living Lead Staff

This position is for a lead staff in our supported living program in Sonoma serving two individuals with developmental disabilities within their home. The job requires providing direct support to one of the individuals, transportation for both individuals and supervising staff.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Support
providing personal care assistance assisting with medical appointments recreation medication monitoring and administration complete daily documentation
Supervisory
oversee support of residents provided by 6-8 staff participate in scheduled house and program meetings act as liasion for Lifehouse with families and outside agencies weekly medication preparation, recreation and nutrition oversight for residents transportation for residents as needed facilitate effective communication
Qualifications and Requirements
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Experience in providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities Supervisory experience preferred Experience with individuals with autism preferred Strong domestic skills:
maintaining a house, cooking healthy meals, helping to purchase healthy food California Driver's License, clean driving record Car in good working order with at least 4 functioning seatbelts Employment is dependent upon completion of physical, including a TB test, and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
Schedule
Monday 8a-4p, Wednesday 8a-4p, Thursday 2p-10p, Friday 2p-10p, Sunday 2p-10p.

Pay

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
