About This Position We are currently looking for experienced ICU registered nurses to work in our state-of the-art- Cardio Vascular Recovery/ICU.
We are look for nurses who are team players, detail orientated, compassionate, flexible and wanting to join a family of nurses with the same qualities.
Required
Experience:
1-2 years of acute ICU experience required.
1 year of acute CVR nursing experience preferred.
Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications BSN preferred.
Basic Computer Skills.
CA RN, BLS and ACLS required.
About Us Founded in 1956, Bakersfield Memorial Hospital was created to meet the needs of our community, and has grown from a small local facility to a large regional hospital serving all of Kern County.
Today, we have more than 400 general acute beds, nearly 50 intensive care and cardiovascular recovery units, 13 state-of-the-art surgical suites, a full-service ER with nationally certified Stroke Center and the Central CA Heart Institute.
In addition, we offer newly expanded birthing suites, a family care center, a 31 bed NICU, a 20 bed Pediatric unit, a full complement of diagnostic laboratory and imaging services and an outpatient surgery center.
Other programs of note include our Womens Services and a Center for Wound Care and Hyperbarics.
