We need you for the ERADICATE Study!
Hepatitis C (HCV) is the leading cause of liver disease in the United States, and people with HCV who are also infected with HIV have a higher risk of complications. Current medications are effective, but often have severe side effects. We need better treatment options for people with HCV and HIV. This study will test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for HCV.
All Participants will receive the study medication (taken by mouth) once daily for 12 weeks. Follow-up visits will last for up to a year,, Initial screening for the study will take place at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, but treatment and follow-up visits may take place in select Washington D.C., area clinics. All participants will be compensated.
YOU MAYBE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IF YOU:
Are 18 or older
Have Hepatitis C, genotype 1
Have never received treatment for hepatitis C
Have HIV
Are not currently taking HIV medications

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
