Automation/Controls Technician
IPG seeks 1 automation/controls/electrical technician for full time employment at the Tremonton Utah facility. Responsibilities are varied and work may include:
electrical, 24v controls, 480V power and motors, troubleshooting manufacturing machinery, PLCs, computers, logic, control circuits, sensors, encoders, repairing bearings, belts.
Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) manufactures a broad range of tape, packaging products and systems. Established in 1981, IPG employs approximately 2,000 employees with operations in 16 locations. The Utah factory manufactures shrink film and stretch film. This location is growing rapidly and needs more technical help to keep up with an increase in production machinery. The current 5 man maintenance crew has a strong safety record and positive attitude of teamwork.
Current open shifts include swing and weekend. Pay biased on past technical experience, education and attitude.
2 years experience working with, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing type machines and controls systems.
