Part-Time Guide / Teacher (mornings)
Small school in Draper looking for a montessori-style guide/teacher. 15-20 hours per week working with kids 6-12 years old. $15-$20 per hour and potential tuition waiver for your children.
We believe in each child finding their mission and developing their gifts. We focus on learning to know, do and be. Our day is split into two major areas. 1) Core Skills in language and math where we rely on technology and a lot of open reading and writing. 2) Quest Based Learning where kids work together on projects that address relevant problems. We prize a sense of mission and community. We expect students to own their education and the class experience. We're looking for a philosophical match and the right kind of experience (montessori or home-school experience is great).
