Be 18 years or older.
Have a history of constipation for at least 6 months Not know the cause of your constipation(i.

it is not caused by medicines being taken or a known medical condition) Have 3 bowel movements per week(when not using laxatives) In the past 3 months 25% of the time you have had one or more of the following symptoms 1.
straining during bowel movement 2.
Hard or lumpy stools 3.
Feel like you have not completely emptied your bowel.
Study participants will at no cost to them.
Receive study related drug and procedures.
