August 2013 Salud Para La Gente is an FQHC located in WatsonvilleCA, and serves the primary health care needs of uninsured and underinsured patients at over 20 clinic sites throughout three counties.
Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be an experienced Finance Executive who has successfully managed all key finance functions of a complex organization (Community Health Center or other non-profit preferred) with multiple revenue sources, and who has strong supervisory experience.
The CFO will be responsible for financial operations including accounting, budgeting, internal control, auditing investment management and management of multiple funding sources including government contracts and private grants.
The CFO supervises the Finance Department and reports to the CEO.
Minimum Qualifications and/or
Experience:
A Master's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly desired.
At least seven years progressive experience in a senior finance position with a large budget and multiple revenue sources, superior analytic and supervisory skills, as well as skilled in fund and grant accounting, compliance and reporting.
Strong knowledge of third party reimbursement specific to FQHC status is desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills required, as well as a steadfast commitment to deadlines.
Bicultural/Bilingual in English/Spanish highly desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
