Lineman - Xcel Energy (Dumas, TX)
Qualifications:
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able and willing to respond to after hour emergency work and callouts, and work extensive amounts of overtime.
Must live within 20 miles of the DumasServiceCenter.
Must be of excellent physical stature, lift and maneuver up to 90 lbs, climb wood poles up to 100 foot tall, use shovels, sledge hammers and jack hammers.
Additional testing may be required.
Preferred Applicants who are currently participating in or have recently graduated from an Associate's program in Power Transmission & Distribution Technology or equivalent program will be given preference for this position.
