Job Description Involved in the whole life cycle of software development of embedded wireless products Participate in product requirement, architecture, design, implementation, testing, trial, deployment, support and maintenance.
Produce high level and detail design documents, responsible for bringing up various hardware platforms and coding, debugging and testing of boot loader, OS and device drivers Interact with hardware and other software teams for module interfaces, design reviews and problem diagnosis Required Skills 8
years software development using C/C++/Assembly in embedded environment Expert in uboot, redboot, Linux kernel internal, GRUB, BSP and device drivers Hands-on experiences in bringing up PowerPC, MIPS or ARM CPU based platforms Working knowledge in programming various hardware devices - NOR & NAND flash, I2C, SPI, UART, 10/100/1000 Ethernet MAC, PHY & switch, AD/DA, USB (OTG & Host), PCI, environmental sensors, timers, watchdog.
FPGA, CPLD Familiar with L2 & L3 network protocols - VLAN, STP, IP, UDP, PPP, IEEE1588 Fluent in popular debugging tools - ICE, Realview, JTAG, BD, CodeWarrior, digital scope, logic analyzer, GDB Experience with multi-core CPU a plus Qualifications B.
