HEALTH OFFICER DEPARTMENT OF BUILDING AND HOUSING DEVELOPMENT BUREAU OF CODES The position is responsible for inspection of food establishments, street vendors, alleys, dwellings, vacant lots and other commercial places for compliance with state and local sanitary laws and regulations. Duties also include the inspection of properties for compliance with laws governing lead abatement. Starting Salary is $40,000 with a $2,000 increase upon certification, plus an excellent benefits package.
