MARKETING EVENTS Coordinator Position based in Lee, MA.
Wave is looking for an organized and self-directed individual to join its Marketing Department.
This position will report to the Director of Trade Shows & Events, assisting in the coordination of over 90 domestic and international trade shows and events.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Assist Director of Trade Shows & Events with all aspects of planning and coordination of trade show-related logistics, including reserving exhibiting space, ordering show services, identifying marketing materials, badge registrations, onsite services, technical services, booth set-up, product demos, and shipping/logistics of equipment.
Conducts pre-planning meetings with Marketing Managers/Directors to develop timeline, product lists, graphics, attendee lists, theme, research and all logistical needs.
Coordinates leads through lead fulfillment vendor - coordinate literature inventory; distribute leads internally.
Assists in the development of trade show presence, including booth design, graphics, at-show marketing, etc.
Provides onsite event support, as required.
Travel 25% Coordinate special events.
Owns and updates Corporate Marketing calendar.
Keep detailed records of all events, including show costs, attendance, filing service forms, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business with a minimum two years of event-planning experience.
Experience with conferences and trade shows strongly preferred.
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented and results focused.
Able to perform under pressure and independently prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
Dynamic and self-directed; a high level of self-motivation.
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must possess a strong work ethic with the desire to exceed expectations.
