Overview:
The Systems Engineer has the primary responsibility of ensuring all hardware designs meet or exceed performance specifications for new and existing products. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for research, development and implementation of new hardware and sustaining engineering for existing hardware platforms used in the company's products.
Responsibilities:
Research, design and develop analog, digital, RF and other circuits as needed to support Listen product plans.
Ensure that all hardware designs meet or exceed company specifications for existing and new products.
Research emerging technologies and identify fitness for use in future products.
Works closely with cross-functional teams in the conceptual product development phase, to clearly understand the market and user requirements for new product initiatives.
Write clear engineering specifications for internal and external stakeholders.
Validate electrical designs at each stage of the product development process (prototype, alpha, beta, pilot production) and give final approval of designs for release to manufacturing.
Assists the Director of Product Development in the management of internal and external design teams.
Work with cross-functional development disciplines to ensure the overall product development design and performance objectives are met.

Qualifications:
BSEE degree and ten years relevant work experience. Additional work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good organizational and effective time management skills.
Knowledge and experience in the design of analog, digital, DSP and RF systems.
Knowledge and experience with:
ADC/DAC chipset implementation
Audio subsystems
Serial communications physical layer(s); protocol(s)
International compliance and certifications. EMI/RFI mitigation
Advanced understanding of using test equipment - oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, protocol analyzers
Experience working with cross-functional design teams with minimal direction from executives.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to travel internationally.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
