We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Chemist 1 to work our swing and graveyard shift positions. Requirements to be considered for this position include:
Job Duties:
Test raw materials, bulk intermediates, finished products and stability samples for specific quality attributes
Use and maintain HPLC, UPLC, GC, IC, FTIR, and UV-Vis
Perform a variety of wet lab techniques including but not limited to: titrations, pH, ISE
Write and revise SOPs and tests methods as needed
Follow document procedures: SOPs, test methods, transfer protocols
Prepare reports and review data
Skills Required:
Understanding of regulatory guidance documents relevant to rx and OTC drug manufacture in the US, EU, and Canada
Very good communication skills to ensure that information is shared between shifts.
Strong technical writing skills to create and revise documents including SOPs, and test methods
Good organizational and time management skills to ensure multiple targets and deadlines are consistently met
Self-motivated and ability to work independently

Experience Required:
Two to five years of laboratory experience in a cGMP, FDA regulated, or ISO 9002 environment
Experience running, and maintaining, laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related science.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
