Job Description:
o Home care/Home Health are one-on-one cases, however as the name implies these are located in the home and are almost always for 8 hours shifts unless otherwise noted.
Home Health nurses go through an intensive training and client specific orientation process.
These nurses are on a set schedule that can be almost any time, but once they start a schedule it stays that way until either they nurse leaves or the patient passes away.
o These cases tend to be for patients with G-Tubes, Trachs, or on Ventilators.
Most of the cases will be for 40 hours a week; however some are on weekends only and can be days, evenings, or night shifts.
