Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Description Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Performs routine service on fleet vehicles to include preventive maintenance service, diagnosing minor and major mechanical, electrical or other failures.
Determines extent of necessary repairs and makes recommendations for service or repairs required.
Inspect, diagnose and locate mechanical difficulties on automobiles, trucks and a variety of diesel and gasoline powered equipment.
Diagnose, repair and /or replace electrical system, hydraulic system components, and hydraulic and air brake problems Performs engine tune-ups, which includes diagnosis, changing spark plugs and repair or replacement of electronic ignition system components and computer system.
Repair clutch and brake systems, alternator and starter systems, pumps, steering systems, front-end alignments, suspension repairs and other major vehicle components.
Maintains equipment maintenance records.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Abilities/Skills:
Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
Mechanical or trade school certificate preferred.
2 years plus experience with heavy equipment maintenance Experience with DOT/OSHA compliance a plus CA Driver License Click here to apply.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
