Company Description Job Description Seeking motivated Forklift Associates to perform shipping/receiving functions at a distribution facility in Dinuba, CA.
JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND
Qualifications:
o High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification in operating forklifts is required.
o Ability to read, write, and understand English.
o Ability to read labels and numbers.
o Excellent teamwork skills.
o Ability to operate in moderate speed and fast-paced environment.
o Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply).
o Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND SCOPE OF
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that all shipping / receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time.
Communicates with customers as required and schedules inbound and outbound appointments.
Perform internal audits on outbound orders, track and report results to supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES/
Qualifications:
- Inbound and Outbound Freight - Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities.
- Documentation to ensure the accuracy of all receiving and shipping documents.
Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities.
Assure that receiving counts match packing lists and that shipping count match picking documents.
Collect all paper documentation and forward to customer service.
- Maintain good security habits at dock doors, participate in physical inventories, assist the Warehouse Worker, Customer Service and Supervisor when necessary, input productivity numbers.
- Experienced in auditing outbound orders.
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions, have good judgment and decision-making ability are required.
- Ability to read and write legibly and is able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
- Pass the company math test.
- Will be required to manually lift and stack products that range from 5 pounds to 75 pounds.
- May be required to roll drums weighing 500
lbs.
- Must be capable of sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, or walking for extended periods of time.
