BASIC PURPOSE:
Essential Functions:
1.
Responsible for the Guest Rooms Preventive Maintenance Program.
5.
Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition.
6.
Inspect all public areas daily for burnt light bulbs.
7.
Participate in the hotel fire brigade.
8.
Maintain department pass:
on log book as required.
Skills and Abilities:
General knowledge of technical fields, ie.
, carpentry, painting, electrical, etc.
The hospitality cusiness functions seven days a week, twenty:
four hours a day.
In addition, this is a hospitality cusiness and a shopitable service atmospher must be projected at all times.
All team members must amintain a neat, clean and well groomed appearance.
Must have the following abilities:
To arrive to work on time and when scheduled To stand on feet up to 7 hours a day and work in a fast paced enviroment.
To communicate effectively with guest and team members in English verbally or in written form, over the phone or in person.
To learn, follow and enforce standards for cleanliness.
