Responsibilities:
The Automation Standards Development Engineer will lead the development, roll out and compliance assurance of GE automation standards to include robotics, controls and mechanical integration of automation systems including conveyors and other material handling systems.
This role is responsible for developing and deploying automation standards across GE and for reviewing proposals from suppliers, contractors and consultants for technical merit and compliance and for investigating and evaluating the application of new technologies.
