Responsibilities:

Business Partner with Plant Leadership Team to develop ad:
hoc reporting focus on driving cost reduction.
:
Set up and maintain product standard cost, including but not limited to updating BOMs and Routers.
:
Lead all aspects of month:
end accounting closing including preparing and/or reviewing journal entries and G/L account review.
:
Prepare existing or projected profitability analyses.
May recommend, design, or develop revisions to the cost accounting system.
Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
:
Oversee team and assist where needed to ensure all requirements are met for all St Paul Operations Accounting activities.
:
Investigate and own recommendations on US GAAP general accounting topics of interest.
Also ensure all operations are in line with US GAAP :
Lead representative and coordinator with Corporate Analysis and Control audits and activities.
:
Recognizes importance and inter:
dependence of financial information with other systems and departments and ensures the accuracy of information produced by the department.
:
Professionally represents the department in interactions with customers, auditors and professional societies.
:
Interprets and executes policies that affect work processes and personnel within the assigned organizational unit.
:
Contributes to the development of operational policies and procedures that affect personnel within the assigned organizational unit.
:
Monitors internal and external indicators to understand business conditions and anticipate the impact on the departments performance.
:
Manage systems converage plan to ensure team has required skills necessary for their roles.
Quality requirements:

Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.
) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
