Butchers / Meat Cutters
MVP (Most Valuable Personnel) is currently looking for Butchers/Meat Cutters.
Some of these positions can be temp to hire for one of our Industrial Client.
Duties:
Cut, trim, bones, tie, and grind meats, using butcher's cutlery and powered equipment (such as electric grinder and band saw) to portion and prepare meat in cooking form:
Cut, trim, and bones carcass sections and or prime cuts using (knives, saw, cleaver, and band saw) to reduce to cooking portions such as roasts, steaks, chops, stew cubes, and grinding meat.
Responsibilities:
Tends electric grinder to grind meat.
Shapes and ties roasts.
May estimate requirements and requisition or order meat supply May receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery.
May record quantity of meat received and issued to cooks.
May clean fowl and fish.
May oversee other butchers and be designated Butcher - Head.
Shifts:
1st through 3rd Pay Rate:
$10.
00 to $14.
00 depending job assignment ISauseda@psgwork.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
