Is responsible for all phases of Medical Staff Services in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, Medical Staff Policies, Joint Commission Standards, Title XXII, other regulatory requirements, and hospital policies and procedures; Acts as liaison between the medical staff and hospital administration within parameters established by medical staff and administration; Coordinates the flow of information from groups within the medical staff through the medical staff executive committee and on to the hospital governing board;Oversees the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals credentialing process, the CMA accredited CME program and the Medical Staff Library.
