Dining Room Coordinator - Full Time (Carrollton, TX)
Dining Room Coordinator RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Responsible for wait staffing assignments, guest meal reservations and general appearance of the dining room before meal service.
3.
Motivates and encourages wait staff to reach optimal performance levels.
4.
Responsible for waiting tables and assisting kitchen and wait staff as needed.
5.
Responsible for communication between dining room and kitchen during meal service.
9.
Responsible for pre-service preparation, seating assignments and set-ups, non-entr e preparations, room temperature, and general appearance of the dining room.
10.
Responsible for attending and scheduling wait staff to attend staff development sessions for growth and development as a team member, as well as, to meet the regulatory standards.
12.
Responsible for overseeing end of night cleanup and reset of the dining room.
13.
Responsible for assisting the CSD with the coordination of catered events.
14.
Responsible for keeping dining room neat and sanitary.
This includes linens, placemats and private dining room.
15.
Responsible to participate in Quality Assurance projects in an effort to enhance the dining service by practicing continuous quality improvement.
16.
Responsible for other similar duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS 1.
Strong oral, written and customer service skills.
3.
Demonstrates excellent customer service strategies.
4.
Basic knowledge of health care food service.
5.
Knowledge of effective leadership techniques.
7.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize work.
8.
Ability to carry out job responsibilities in an accurate and conscientious manner.
9.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
10.
Ability to coordinate day-to-day and strategic dining room planning, as needed.
EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING 1.
Must be able to pass drug screen.
2.
Must be able to pass TB screen.
3.
Must be able to pass extensive background check.
4.
3 years food service experience and/or training in a related setting.
5.
1 year of leadership experience.
6.
Cooking experience a plus 7.
