Position Description:
QuEST is seeking an entry level engineer to join our growing Project Engineering team. This position is based in our Middletown, Connecticut office.
Responsibilities include:
Track and status engine build schedules / documenting instrumentation progress
Coordinate instrumentation & installation requirements with assembly floor personnel
Document Instrumentation requirements & updates (TJR & TIRs)
Detailed meeting minutes and action item tracking
Tracking issues in customer QCPC system
Maintain engine instrumentation Bill of Material
Generate weekly assembly status reports
Candidates may be required to work 2nd shift schedules and/or weekend overtime depending on engine build schedules.
Requirements:
BS in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial field, or equivalent experience. Students approaching achievement of a degree with applicable work/internship experience and available for full time work will also be considered.
Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings required
The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency with Microsoft Project, SAP, and TeamCenter is a plus, but not required.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem solving skills are required
Candidates should be self-starters and have the ability to work with minimal direction.
The candidate should have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment as the position will involve time spent on the shop floor.
Candidates must be US Citizen or Permanent Residents
