Managing all Quality activates for the site, leading the Quality team and factory laboratory staff;
Planning and implementing food safety and quality plans;
Managing a fully functioning control lab responsible for microbiological and chemical analysis of raw materials following CFR 111 and ISO 17025 requirements;
Providing guidance and assistance, data collection and interpretation for new product production trials;
Leads the HACCP team and deployment of the HACCP plan to ensure product safety;
Utilizing statistical methods, SPC, DOE, etc., to evaluate and improve factory process and product perfo0rmance;
Conducting root cause analysis studies;
Designing and deploying KPIs as needed to improve factory performance and reports KPI information to all levels of the organization.

EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or Science related disciplines preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
5
years of experience in Quality Assurance and QC lab management in a food, pharma or supplements industry;
Certified in HACCP principles, experience on a HACCP leadership team implementing a food safety plan;
Experience preparing and approving SOPs, SIO 22000, ISO 17025;
Knowledge of 21 CFR part 110, 21 CFR part 111 and other regulatory standards for sanitation and hygiene of food manufacturing;
Quality audit program management and audit skills training, ASQ-CQA (certified quality auditor) or other;
Experience with HPLC, UOPLC, GC and microbial assay methods for raw materials, granulations, tablets and capsule products;
Planning, organizational and leadership skills;
Experience with data collection, data management analytics and KPI reporting;
10% travel or less.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
