The Position
The role of the Tax function is to provide high quality tax services to Parkwood and its clients. The Tax Analyst's main responsibility will be to prepare various federal and state tax filings for partnerships, trusts, individuals and tax exempt entities. Responsibilities will also include preparation of tax projections, tax workpapers and journal entries.
A successful candidate will be responsible for working with the Tax Manager in the following areas:
Preparation of various income and excise tax returns (partnership, trust, individual, foundation) Maintenance of tax and financial records Tax research as required Preparation of tax workpapers and tax related journal entries Preparation of tax returns Assistance with tax planning projects
Specific Work Experience and Background Desired
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA or CPA candidate required 2-4 years tax experience Individual tax experience required Partnership tax experience required Proficiency in Excel and Windows Operating Systems Big 4 or Regional public accounting firm experience preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
