Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer
Develop and establish quality standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
Create or review Control Plans and PFMEAs
Use technical analysis to solve problems and improve processes both independently as part of a team
Review design documentation for compliance to stated requirements
Maintain good customer relationships
Requirements for the Quality Engineer
BS Degree in Engineering or similar AS Degree with compensating experience
Minimum 1 to 6 years experience in Quality Engineering
A PLUS to have familiarity with Die Casting
Need experience with QS 9000 or TS 16949, good knowledge of SPC, and solid background in quality metrology
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
