Responsibilities for the Planner
This role will provide direction and assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives.
In this role, you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Principle Accountabilities: Coordinate and execute scheduling activities for assigned group of part numbers and suppliers using advanced planning system.
Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements. .
Monitor deliveries from supplier and lead cross functional corrective action plans efforts as necessary with Operations, Purchasing, Finance, Sales, Product Management, Engineering and Quality teams.
Analyze and measure the current supplier production status and identify problem areas that inhibit on time full schedule realization
Requirements for the Planner
Open to experience from other industries.
Required Bachelor Degree from four-year College or University in Business Administration, Supply Chain and Logistics, or Engineering

years experience in Material Supply Planning.
Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain Management from supplier through final assembly.
Preferred CPIM APICS certification.
Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel and Access applications and AS400 ERP and SMS forecasting system experience are preferred.
Solid understanding of supply chain operations, especially inventory control, planning, forecasting and scheduling.
30% travel to other facilities
Strong oral and written English language skills are mandatory; any other European language would be an asset.
