POSITION Overview:
Produces invoices for moderately-difficult client contracts. Setups and maintain instructions in the accounting system for calculating invoice values (revenue). Update client spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy in formulas and calculations. Use of multiple internal web based systems for creating, tracking, approving, and storage. Responding to questions from projects you support. Modest amount of administrative work; such as reprinting and organizing backup.
Support Controller and Accounting team.
Responsibilities:
Prepares, distributes, revises, and finalizes invoices for T&M and cost-plus projects. Ensures accurate monthly invoices are submitted to client in a timely manner. Coordinate process with Project Managers and their delegates.
Establishes Excel-based invoices in client-prescribed formats. These invoices often require the development and maintenance of automated spreadsheets. Troubleshoots billing errors, reconciling differences between billed and cost amounts.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 year College degree Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
- 4 year degree preferred
- 5 years of experience preferred
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Must demonstrate strong math and logic skills as well as a strong demonstrated proficiency in using MS Excel. Accounting class work required. Written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
