Applications Developer

McKenney's Inc. one of Atlanta's best places to work is seeking a Mid level Applications Developer to join our Enterprise Intelligence Group. The selected candidate will work on a variety of programming task in several different languages/development environments on an Agile development team to deliver user experience excellence to the customers we serve.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
DAILY
Deliver code to meet outlined specifications.
Work closely with other members of the EIG in a development environment that is informal and iterative.
Provide feasibility assessments for various technical aspects of product design, architecture, and maintenance.
Provide escalation support for technical support inquiries and issue resolution.
WEEKLY
Participate in daily meetings to discuss user stories and backlog.
Perform moderate testing on functions and applications.
Document projects via comments in-code as well as standalone documentation.
Forecast the amount of time and effort involved to finish a project with a high level of accuracy.
Produce system documentation for internal and external stakeholders for completed projects.
Actively solicit feedback from users regarding recent efforts
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years' experience with OOP, SQL databases, .NET framework 4.0, HTML5, Java, JavaScript.
3-5 years' experience developing web and mobile applications.
2year's experience with CRM systems.
Force.com Developer certification.
3-5 year's experience with UX design.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Splunk certifications (Sales Engineer and/or Architect)
Experience with Business Intelligence.
Experience with systems integration.
Experience with test plan development and execution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed as well as determine and manage priorities with minimal guidance.
Must possess and maintain exceptional work ethic.
