TVH Parts Company is a worldwide supplier of aftermarket and OEM parts to the Material Handling, Powered Personnel Lift Equipment, Light Construction, and Agricultural Equipment industries. Our North American headquarters in Olathe, KS, serves the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
We are currently seeking a Parts Research Specialist for our Olathe, KS, facility.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide part numbers and technical information for forklift trucks, floor sweepers/scrubbers, aerial lift equipment and light construction/ AG machines to our customers and internal departments
Research will be conducted by using technical publications and parts manuals, on-line resources, and in-house computer parts programs.
Work in a fast paced, high volume call center as part of a team to provide part numbers, price and product availability to the customer verbally or via electronic communication.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Experience in the material handling industry is preferred. Experience in the automotive aftermarket, or experience in the equipment repair field will be strongly considered
Strong mechanical aptitude is required
Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat; be comfortable using internet search engines; and possess good keyboarding skills
Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Will need to possess the highest level of customer service skills. Experience in a call center environment is highly favorable
Must be willing to take on new challenges; be a self-starter; and work as part of a team with a minimum of supervision in a fast paced and exciting environment
Will handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
