Our Client is a 7 Billion dollar player and one of the premier electronics developers in the world. Their BLDC fan products have a unique patented blade design and structure. The Detroit division is in a growth mode and is looking for an experienced Automotive Sales and/or Program Manager to Fan and Thermal Management Group with Automotive Clients. This is an ideal opportunity for an Applications or Project Engineer to transition into a sales/PM role. Your job function will be a 60/40 mix of PM to Sales function. The bonus potential is up to 35% of your base. You will start by managing an existing account with 2 Million in annual sales.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automotive accounts.
Coordinate presentations, maintain monthly reports for Sales and PM activities
Provide product feedback to development team for future products
Prepare quotes and secure new business
Technical issue resolution, warranty issue resolution and service of account
Track Open issues, ECR's, program status reports etc.
Coordinate w/ customer and mfg. team for key deliverables, proto builds, samples, DV/PV,PPAP etc.
Ability to handle EMC and Circuit issues on electrical components
Requirements:
BS degree, BSEE preferred
3
years in a similar or product development role
Automotive Technical Sales, Applications or Project Engineering background to Tier 1 or OEM (at least 3 yrs.)
Understanding of thermal applications re: BLDC fans is a plus
Familiar with APQP process, 8-D reporting, FMEA, RMA process etc.
Excellent communication skills

Salary: base plus bonus up to 121K (70-90K base)
Travel: 25% mostly localEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
