Principal duties:
The Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation is seeking an individual interested in working in the field of gene therapy. Duties include working/supervising a team of one to three technical researchers, identifying research problems, designing appropriate research approaches and conducting experiments, preparing research manuscripts and grants for funding opportunities, and also working in a larger group on research projects aimed at a possible cure for diabetes utilizing gene therapy. The incumbent will conduct research and prepare results for publication and presentation at conferences. The ideal candidate will also have experience in using small animals in research projects.
A criminal background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
A period of evaluation will be required

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
