AgStar is seeking a Client Service Specialist in our Worthington, MN office to efficiently and economically market and deliver credit and related services to current AgStar clients and to prospective clients. The Client Service Specialist will present a professional image to the client and provides discretionary service which exceeds client expectations. This individual will work very closely with the Financial Services Officers to service all aspects of client relationships and will provide first-level client service, determines client's needs, and meets those needs to the extent of delegated authority. On smaller loans, the Client Service Specialist may gather the appropriate information from the client, input the information for loan processing, close the loan, and disburse the funds. On larger loans, the Client Service Specialist will gather available information and transfers the information for loan approval and credit delivery. This individual will actively cross-sell related services to current and prospective clients and will provide general office support to the Flagship as needed.
Qualified candidates for this position will have;
Some post high school education in accounting, business administration or related field
2 to 4 years related work experience
Knowledge of or background in agriculture
Experience providing face-to-face service to internal and external clients
Loan processing and credit experience
Very good accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, time management and listening skills
Solid computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and client databases
Strong knowledge of AgStar products, services, processes, team members, and teams/functions
