Oversees the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge. Conducts high level business analysis involving complex business requirements and processes. Analyzes current processes and recommends process improvements. Provides technical and business knowledge to clients. Keeps abreast of technological and competitive developments. Conducts research on industry practices and standards and other benchmarking data. Develops position statements on complex subject matter questions. Minimum Job Specs: Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent, 8 years of related financial services experience, Extensive knowledge of business functions, Experience with project management methodology, Excellent analytical skills, Very strong relationship management skills, Strong writing and presentation skills
Support a two person Project Management Office in assessing how State Street manages outsourcing risk in the business and how that compares to recent Federal Guidelines that were published on managing outsourcing risk.
The specific deliverables of the Project Management office that this candidate would be initially involved with is in identifying our Top Tier vendor population, creating an extensive survey with the help of subject matter experts around the corporation for the business to self-assess on how they manage their outsourcing risk, rolling up the findings of the survey into a scorecard to understand where the business may have some gaps in their risk process.
At the same time in general supporting our work with consultants in conducting a gap analysis on State Street risk mgmt. program as it relates to Federal guidelines and creating a framework for moving forward.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
