Job Summary Under minimal supervision, assists in developing and implementing initial training, future training and staff development program for the assigned areas. Conducts ongoing education for staff. Additionally, the Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for assuring competency of all staff in assigned area and that evidence of such competency is maintained. Organizing and coordinating of the department's orientation program is also required. Minimum
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (If BSN not yet obtained must be actively enrolled in
nursing program with scheduled graduation date.); BA/BS in a related field with a minimum
combination Associates Degree in Nursing. Masters or CNE certification preferred.
Experience: Typically, five years of professional nursing experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of staff education and professional nursing principles,
practices, concepts, and procedures. Has knowledge of relevant educational content and appropriate delivery methods. Ability to develop and facilitate relevant and effective education for adult learners. Knowledge of standards, polices and procedures of the agency as they pertain to nursing. Knowledge and utilization of a variety of educational modalities. Knowledge of performance improvement. Skill in the development, implementation and evaluation of education programs, competency, policies, procedures and standards of care. Ability to identify learning needs and assist with meeting those needs. Ability to collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary team and colleagues in the Department of Nursing in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating education program/competency to facilitate safe patient care. Ability to identify and collaborate with content experts to develop activities to facilitate learners' achievement of the educational objectives. Ability to use computers and computer systems.
Certificate/License/Registration: Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the Sate of Colorado or a participating compact state.
Specialty certifications as required/recommended per unit. _Facility:_ Denver Health Main Campus, 777 Bannock St.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
