Our Corporate Internal Audit Department is seeking an Associate IT Auditor to work out of our headquarters in downtown Cincinnati, OH. If you are looking for a career path that can include expanding your career in internal audit, then this position is for you.
Assists in conducting audits of application, operating systems, platforms and operating procedures in accordance with the audit process / steps prescribed by management.
Verifies effectiveness of controls at the network, operating system, database and application level.
Assists in the documenting of business and systems processes / data flows.
Collects data and documents concern / risk areas. Assists with developing solutions to concerns / risks.
Identifies possible operating improvements and discusses with internal audit department.
Collaborates and develops working relationship with external auditors.
May recommend improvements in current risk management controls and implementation of system changes or upgrades.
Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related discipline.
0 to 2 years auditing, information technology and / or accounting experience.
Progress toward the completion of a Professional Designation (for example, CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, etc.) preferred.
