Responsibilities
ADVENTIST HEALTHCARE is seeking an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to work at Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital of Maryland-Rockville, a 55-bed inpatient hospital. The candidate will schedule inpatient therapy patients; therapy staff; and perform financial compliance functions relating to these cases.
Contributes to the daily departmental operations.
Accurately and efficiently schedules patients for inpatient therapy.
Act as staffing coordinator.
Process patient information in a manner consistent with departmental procedures.
Ensure insurance compliance.
Maintain accurate SMS, RMT & Cerner records and reservation/patient data communiqu s to optimize and streamline care.
Maintain patient/customers confidentiality and dignity.
Process strong computer skills and communication skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma required; college education preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of Computerized scheduling experience required
Computer experience of basic windows programs
Medical terminology
Type 30 wpm required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work in high volume environment
Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Detail oriented
Strong customer service skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
