The Role:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for accurately recording the vehicle sale and profit on all sold units, and maintaining accurate accounting of vehicle inventories.
Here's what you'll do:
Realize first and foremost that the overall objective is the customer's satisfaction which is the benchmark for success
Work with other team members to problem solve, if necessary, in order to efficiently address a customer's need
Be open minded and stay ready to continually innovate
Accept and embrace all responsibilities
Answer customer questions accurately, openly, honestly
Follow all company policies and procedures
Your Assignments:
Review all used car deals and post into accounting
Organize all paperwork in each car deal; check for completeness and compliance (signatures, verify VIN, etc.)
Process pay-off checks for trade-ins and mail to appropriate financial institution in a timely manner.
Review current day bank activity and post receipts for funded deals
Prepare and send floorplan payoffs
Pull deals for Controller's deal review
Research and purify schedules for review with Controller
Here's what you'll need:

A history of success in a team environment
Basic working knowledge of accounting and mathematical aptitude
Professional personal appearance
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to work in a flexible schedule
Ability to utilize our technology and stay current with our technology training
Ability to take ownership of the details - large and small
Decision making that demonstrates good judgment
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test and credit report
Desired
Experience:
Two years automotive accounting experience preferred
Working knowledge of dealership documents and ADP DMS
Accurate with 10 key pad and typing
A history of success in a team environment
Experience using good problem solving skills, and taking the initiative to think critically to identify improvement opportunities
Experience with web-based search applications, MS Excel and MS Word
