Southern Wine & Spirits of America is seeking candidates for an exciting Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity in Wilsonville, OR. This is a full-time position with benefits available the first day of the month following 30 days of full-time employment.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for receipt and daily posting of customer mailed AR payments.
Research, reconcile, and document payment discrepancies on the customer account.
Scan checks for deposit using Check 21 machine.
Monitor AR aging for internal credit compliance and compliance with OLCC regulations.
Review/research invoices with open balances to determine if credits are due.
Work with Sales Dept and Corp collections regarding AR related questions/issues.
Generate daily open rail/will call report. Review and follow-up with sales on invoices/payments due.
Generate statements if needed.
Maintain AR payment documentation and related files.
Responsible for Daily Route Settlement for Bend office. Process and post driver totals and paper rail route.
Complete deposit log. prepare deposits, and scan checks.
Cross-train as primary back-up for Wilsonville cash office/ route settlement.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, some college coursework or equivalent.
At least two years of accounts receivable experience.
One year of cash handling experience.
Basic understanding of accounting procedures.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Accurate data entry skills and 10-key by touch.
Demonstrate ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision, prioritize assignments, and multi-task within restricted time constraints.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Associate''s Degree with coursework in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
AS400 experience.
Wholesale Beverage Indudstry experience is a plus.
