Perform any and all duties related to the manufacturing of cabinets. Job tasks and duties may include but are not limited to lifting material, parts, or components weighing up to 50 lbs. Team lift and move finished packages weighing up to 200 lbs. Operate air-powered tools including sanders, drills, nail & staple guns. Operate power tools including portable sanders, saws, drills, etc. Must be able to read a tape measure. May be asked to use wet film thickness gauge and/or calipers. May be asked to use HVLP spray finishing equipment. Most job tasks require constant movement, continuous walking/standing, and repetitive lifting, bending, and hand/arm motions. These positions will be for our new Second Shift. There is a $1.00 per hour shift premium in addition to the starting hourly rate. Training may take place on First Shift, but all positions will evenutally be placed on Second.
Required Skills
Ability to work safely, follow safety rules and regulations, and promote a safety culture.
Ability to stand at least 8 hours a day.
Previous experience with hand tools.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to read tape measure.
Ability to differentiate the colors on the wood cabinet components.
Call forklift driver when materials are needed.
Must communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
