Note: The State of Connecticut does not have a specific certification requirement for the teaching of Technology at this time. Any currently certified teacher with 8th grade level certification in any subject area may teach technology. Comfort with a wide variety of technology programs used in the classroom, and knowledge of classroom integration of technology is essential for this positon. Technology teachers have a major responsibility for the senior exhibition, which is a part of the Scofield Magnet Progam.
Teachers dually certified in TESOL, Bilingual Education or ESL, with experience in Sheltered Instruction or fluency in another language will be given preference for this position.
