Application Analyst
The principal responsibility is to ensure the availability of all line-of-business systems and the overall technology support of our client's critical business systems such as Dynamics AX 2009 and other financial applications. This includes liaising with business users in a Business Analyst capacity to understand business processes and develop solutions to meet technology needs and enhance system functionality. Additionally, the Analyst will manage day-to-day initiatives and ensure timely and effective incident management and problem resolution. This includes working with our external development team to foster the writing, coding, testing, debugging and implementing of software programs in a structured full-life cycle methodology.
Industry experience in the following skills:
o 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics Axapta 2009 or comparable ERP with core competency in AP, AR, GL and Sales and Inventory management
o 2 years of experience in SQL Server 2005 and 2008 R2
o 2 years of experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL Development
o 2 years of experience in developing reports and sub-reports using SQL Server Reporting
Services (SSRS);
o 2 years of experience in developing workflows and views, developing enhancements and performing upgrades in ImageNow ECM a plus
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, or related field of study, with five years of progressive experience in a related occupation

Responsibilities:
Provide expertise for projects and initiatives as they relate to the implementation and support of application and infrastructure technology in a multi-platform environment
Ensure the availability of line-of-business systems and overall technology production support for critical business systems and support business users with end-to-end application technology needs
Work closely with line-of-business and internal technology teams to define, develop, and document system related business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis
Oversee a development team to translate business requirements into software development requirements
Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation and develop plans to roadmap and upgrade key systems
Conduct research and continued efforts toward education in the area of new technology for the purpose of making recommendations for software program purchases and upgrades
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
