Description: Sprague is looking for an Associate Risk Analyst to monitor, track and report the Oil Supply P/(L) and risk compliance internally. .
Duties:
Run risk models on a daily basis and report on the Oil Supply P/(L), risk limit compliance, VaR utilization, and any other risk measures utilized.
Manage the distribution of risk management reports and actively communicate any issues to Director, Middle Office.
Work with traders, accounting, and other internal and external groups to address and resolve any data questions and discrepancies, including month-end requirements.
Manage PRS/market curve updates in SolArc and maintain required supporting documentation.
Provide backup support for the Oil Risk Coordinator and Associate Position Keeper including generation of risk position grids and operational inventory reports.
Continually review and evaluate risk calculation and reporting mechanisms and requirements, with the goal of identifying and implementing process improvements.
Work with traders and other Risk Management group members to value and support any required analyses of structured products.
Complete analyses on projects as needed either as lead or in support role.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, mathematics, statistics or a related field. Advance degree a plus.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced computer literacy
Detail and action oriented problem solver with ability to work independently and meet various deadlines.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and presentation skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
