Responsibilities:
Response Preparation/Response Management (60%)
Provide balanced, scientifically based, consistent and accurate medical information responses to unsolicited medical questions from internal business partners and external customers.
Coordinate the development and review of medical information responses with team members, manage expectations and timelines effectively.
Research, write and maintain written medical information responses for use by internal business partners to answer external customer questions.
Ensure and coordinate quality checks for accuracy and integrity, collate reviewers comments, adjust content of document and prepare final versions.
Analyze and integrate data and information from a broad range of resources and technologies to address customer needs in a timely manner.
Monitor product information in drug information compendia and contact/interact as necessary.
Partner to develop and communicate medical information work plans and timelines based on brand strategies and product launch plans to ensure optimal information sharing and to reduce duplication of effort.
External Service Provider Management (15%)
Manage successful relationships within compound teams and cross-functional teams, across regions and geographies, as well as with alliance partners and vendors to ensure quality deliverables and maximum business impact.
Oversee outsourcing of individual deliverables by developing work plans, managing project, reviewing deliverables, and providing feedback to ensure quality
Continuous Development of Knowledge and Skills (10%)
Maintain and enhance clinical and therapeutic knowledge, including disease state, compound, and competitor data.
Support external outreach activities in order to develop and maintain an awareness of medical information business and initiatives outside of Lilly.
Exhibit flexibility in moving across therapeutic areas and compounds, depending on assignments.
Maintain and enhance knowledge of compliance and regulatory guidelines
Sharing Knowledge and Experience (10%)
Provide coaching and mentoring to others by sharing information, giving guidance, and answering questions.
Contribute clinical expertise as key member of medical team by answering medical questions or customer responses; performing literature searches; providing medical information booth support at scientific meetings; presenting posters; etc.
Be recognized as technical expert for medical information deliverables.
Network with others to identify and share best practices.
Contribute to process improvements, suggesting opportunities where appropriate.
Actively participate in initiatives such as organizational metrics, customer satisfaction surveys, internal feedback, systems enhancements, and other key projects that provide continuous development and growth opportunities for the organization.
Customer Focus (5%)
Maintain and enhance knowledge of customer (health care provider, patients, and payers) and global affiliate needs.
Engage in activities supporting reward and recognition, teambuilding, and diversity.
Support external outreach activities (e.g., involvement in professional organizations).
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in healthcare profession with at least 2 years of industry experience or 2 years work experience in designated therapeutic area or similar role, or a Masters Degree in a healthcare profession, or a PhD with work in designated therapeutic area.
Qualified candidate must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Lilly does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
Oncology Experience Masters Degree (e.g., PharmD or MSN).
Cognitive abilities, including verbal reasoning, attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical ability.
Focuses on the customer.
Demonstrated change agent.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
There is limited travel required, approximately 10 20%.
A writing exercise is required as part of the candidate evaluation process.
Additional writing samples may be requested.
Demonstrated mastery of written English and professional verbal skills in English.
Demonstrated project-, time-, and self-management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to be flexible in varying environments and with multiple customer groups
Ability to assimilate and communicate large volumes of medical information.
Demonstrated high-level end-user computer skills (e.g., databases, word processing, tables and graphics, spreadsheets, presentations/PowerPoint and templates).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
