Job Description:
Provides leadership and is responsible for optimizing efficiency in all areas of brewing required to achieve business goals and imperatives. Utilizes MillerCoors Manufacturing Way (MCMW) principles and best practices which contribute to world class standards of operation through monitoring and evaluating SPQSCR to continuously improve performance. Develops local strategies and tactics in alignment with the brewery and integrated supply chain strategic plan.
Leads and is responsible for brewing financial and operational performance, asset care and reliability, quality, brewing scheduling, manufacturing development, manufacturing systems and project management. Ensures high quality products are packaged cost effectively through maximizing operational efficiency and reliability. Is responsible for the integration of new products and product testing.
Builds and develops a team of employees in the areas of technical and leadership development. Responsible for a multi-disciplinary team of direct and indirect reports. Leads, mentors and develops assigned team in Performance, Career and Talent Management. Responsible for competency acquisition process for department. Promotes and consults with leadership on strategies to create an inclusive and engaging environment.
Is responsible for adhering to all rules, regulations, policies, programs and related MillerCoors Quality Management System including SQF, HACCP and GMP to ensure safety and quality of MillerCoors products and MillerCoors brewing specifications.
Education level and/or experience
BS or BA degree, preferably in Brewing Technology, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science or Engineering
Minimum of ten (10) years in a leadership position in a manufacturing environment.
Skills and/or knowledge
Advanced knowledge of brewing practices and procedures
Must be familiar with the various technical aspects of brewing operations and its associated equipment
Knowledge of utilities systems and associated affect on brewing process
Thorough knowledge of production scheduling
Thorough knowledge of brewing quality with the ability to analyze business reports and recognize trends to enable corrective action
Strong understanding of asset care (Capability, Availability, Reliability and Enhancement) concepts for installed equipment including maintenance routines and practices
Ability to apply high level root-cause and problem solving skills
Understanding of the people processes, polices, and guiding principles
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and managerial ability to directly manage personnel, while providing for their technical training and personal development.
Demonstrated understanding of the concepts of manufacturing such as World Class Manufacturing and be able to establish and implement plans for changing workplace strategies adopted by the company in pursuit of its business needs.
Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA regulations, employee relations practices/policies, TTB regulations, plant safety regulations, FDA guidelines for food plants, and environmental regulations regarding manufacturing brewery operation

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
