Entry-level Business Development Associate

Randstad is recruiting for a business development associate for a reputable client in the Bethesda area. The business development associate would fill the customer care role within a Sales Department and be responsible for contacting customers regarding specific products, fielding any questions or concerns about the product, and assist with business development. Our client is looking for an associate with a go-getter personality, willingness to learn, and a team player mentality. This is a permanent position paying $35k base salary plus commission. Duties:
-Promote and sell products and services to a specific set of accounts
-Persuade customers to purchase services and products
-Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
-Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
-Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
Working hours: 9am to 5pm
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree, with a concentration in Business Administration
-Ability to learn and passionate about sales and marketing
-Strong written and oral communication skills
-Works well independently as well as in a team environment
-Professional demeanor and attitude
-Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
-Exceptionally driven with a very strong work ethic
