Objectives:
Ensure the project and change activities required from the Technology Development Teams aligned with the Banks overall strategy as well as with the IT strategy.
Ensure consistent planning and prioritization of initiatives in the most efficient manner with the goal of optimizing the technology resource pool and delivering maximum business benefit; facilitate regular alignment and prioritization of demand.
Provide governance and management of the demand pipeline by facilitating regular communication channels and forums to align on planned activities in the day to day operations between business units and Technology Services.
Facilitate the annual Technology SI planning; capture and estimate demand on an ongoing basis and map demand against agreed plan and resource base.
Requirements:
Job Duties:
Develop, define and implement the overall IT demand management structure and processes in agreement with key Business stakeholders.
Develop a communication and governance structure which satisfies Business needs and aligns demand with existing capacity.
Continually liaise with the business units to shape and implement the demand management processes as well as the regular liaison/relationship management interactions.
Oversee SI planning and facilitate prioritization of Technology projects to build an overall demand pipeline both annually and ongoing; report on progress against plan.
Capture new demand and ensure structured and high quality of demand scope and specification in order to have a consistent basis for estimation and scheduling of resource.
Initiate, participate and contribute (at a high level) to any ongoing business forums or activity which will create substantial IT demand.
Facilitate alignment meetings with business units to create transparency around upcoming business initiatives, the current demand pipeline, the current IT change execution performance, capacity situation.
Initiate and execute intra departmental communication and improvement activities to ensure maximum alignment of IT with business priorities.
Develop KPIs/dashboards and regular reports to create transparency, track the demand pipeline and to drive effective decision making.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all IT demand related issues to Sr. Management and key stakeholders.
Create MIS reporting and decks to ensure transparency over the demand pipeline and the status of current in-flight projects.
Fulfill all portfolio reporting requirements including performance against plan for Technology initiatives, benefit realization and development status.
